Question: Can a vent be installed on each side instead of both on one side as pictured?
Answer: Yes, the vent windows can be on either side, just not on the very ends.Question: I live on a mountain. What windspeeds do these greenhouses tolerate?
Answer: Hello, when properly assembled per the manual with the anchor kit installed, the greenhouse handles winds up to 55mph. -

Really nice unit. However, assembly was not as easy as advertised. But now as the greenhouse is complete, everything is going smooth. Will try out heater next week as temperatures are to be below freezing. I rate this unit as a really good, but not a great investment. Time will tell.

I bought the Americana (12 X12 X 9) elsewhere. It is much more sturdy than the other Palgram/Rion greenhouses. It is also much, much more difficult to build. We probably built and torn down this thing 3 times while assembly. Many of the images are unclear and incorrect sub-assembly wasn't figured out until 4 or 5 steps later. In the end, it all came together and looks great! It comes with the anchoring kit, so no need to buy that separate. It also comes with steel tubing support for the walls so combined with the anchoring kit, this greenhouse is not going to collapse even under extremely bad weather. Although the polycarbonate walls are very tough, they are single ply so don't expect much cold weather insulation benefit. I live in the deep south; I bought this to keep the morning chill off my potted lemon/lime trees.
